professional search and selection process
Laigaard & Partners normally recruit via executive search or search. From time to time we also use search and selection where we post the position online and if relevant also in printed media. Search and selection can be a relevant option in cases where a company wants the publicity of having their brand name seen. At the same time, it can also attract very specific candidates if you pick the right media. This could, for instance, be candidates who would like to return home from an international position.Usually, we use search and selection in addition to the search process, but if we and our customer feel it is sufficient to only use selection we will formulate a text for a job posting based on our pre-analysis and our dialogue. This will then be posted on our website and according to an agreed media plan
Effective search and selection process
We register all applications upon receipt and we confirm these to the candidates the same day we receive them. At the same time, we send the candidates our candidate guide describing our recruitment process. The rest of the recruitment process regarding testing, interviewing and presenting candidates follow the same quality standards as our normal process for executive search.
Board Service – coaching and consulting
It is a distinct trend that chairmen of boards to a higher degree now than before engage themselves deeper into company matters – today being a Chairman is a real job rather than an honorary position. In parallel to this more and more specific competencies are in demand when boards require new members and in light of the technological and digital development, such competencies may lose their relevance much faster than before.
These trends mean that boards have an increasing need for assistance and at Laigaard & Partners we have solid experience with helping boards find the right team and develop effective ways of working. Our board service:
- Personal sparring and coaching for CEO, Chairman and board members.
- Assessment of the existing board as part of recruiting new members and developing each member.
- Recruitment of new members.
- Organising the work in the board – i.a. agendas, committees, annual schedules, etc.
